As a valued customer of our family of companies: BER’S, HUGE, WM. E. Donnelly, ESI & Bud’s, we wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news about our future and our relationship with our customers and community.

Over the years, our team has prided ourselves on serving our customers. We have always believed our customers should expect and deserve the best products and services backed up by expertise in all we do while maintaining customer service excellence, family values, honesty, and integrity. Providing all this and more enables us to deliver on our promise of Customer Service Excellence every day.

The Transition to Heart of Ohio

Beginning in 2022, BERS started providing it’s Plumbing and Electrical services through HUGE, WM. E Donnelly, & Bud’s to add greater value with these additional services to the customers of all our companies.

Starting in 2023, we began to transition each company name to the group company name of “Heart of Ohio HVAC, Plumbing, & Electrical.” You may continue seeing our existing logoed trucks for a while as we transition vehicles out of the fleet and bring new ones in with the new Heart of Ohio logo. I am so excited about the benefits this will give our current & new customers such as:

• Expanded capability to handle emergencies and provide fast 24/7 service.
• Combined manpower to efficiently handle service and installation work so that we are available to serve our customers today and get anything that needs service, repairs, or replacements completed sooner.
• Technicians who have been trained using industry specific operation manuals that insure you receive consistent service no matter what time of day you call or what technician arrives.
• The ability to offer HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services to NE Ohio from Lake Erie to Wooster and growing!

How We Got Our Name

Each of the company names and logos are special to us and I remember thinking each time we added a company, how much I loved the name and family personality of each. When deciding on a name for the combined family of companies, I had been talking to a friend about the process and he asked me what was most important to me about our companies. I told him how much I love our employees, serving our customers & community, and loving what I’m doing with all my heart. Then it occurred to me that my heart is in all those things, and Heart of Ohio was born.
